Can you describe the extent of any relevant work experience you might have?

I've worked on many projects involving a wide range of technical skills such as sculpting, modelling, texturing, and animating, using multiple industry-standard tools like Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Blender, and more.
This hands-on experience has given me a strong understanding of the full 3D pipeline. Working independently and in small teams has helped me adapt quickly to new workflows, software, and challenges building strong problem-solving skills while staying flexible to meet each project's needs and creative vision.

How would you describe your contribution to your group project?

For the short film 'AFK', I was responsible for creating the base meshes for each character, thanks to my strong organisation skills. I then took on the full development of the ice character, sculpting detailed features, preparing the asset for production, and completing its texturing and look development to ensure it was ready for integration across each shot.
I also took on several technical responsibilities during the project, such as setting up the layout for my shots and preparing them for rendering.

What do you specialise in and what made you choose that specialism?

I have a solid skillset across the 3D VFX pipeline and genuinely enjoy most aspects of it. While I’m capable of working in a 3D generalist role, I’m especially passionate about character creation. I love the challenge of sculpting form, adding personality, and bringing characters to life. That creative side of 3D work is what truly drives me.

What would your ideal first role in the industry be?

3D Generalist or 3D character artist

Which of your student projects are you most proud of, and why?

I'm most proud of my specialism project because I had a clear creative vision and was able to execute it effectively, while maintaining a clean and organised setup throughout. I also feel I grew significantly during the module, it really challenged my problem-solving skills and helped me develop them further, which ultimately contributed to a strong, polished final outcome.

What’s a piece of media (film, game, animation) that changed the way you think about your discipline?

The two films 'Inception' and 'Better Man' really opened up the boundaries of VFX for me. When I first saw these films, I was in awe of how they visualised such complex ideas and emotions so creatively. Both showed me how powerful VFX can be when used not just for spectacle, but to enhance storytelling. I could watch either of them over and over, just to marvel at the visual effects. These films have inspired me to approach my own work with the same mindset — using VFX not just to impress, but to support and elevate the narrative behind each project.
