Can you describe the extent of any relevant work experience you might have?

Unfourtunatly, I do not have any direct experience working within the industry, however I've been to many talks from members of the industry and participated in a couple of GameJams so I have a decent idea what the industry is like.

How would you describe your contribution to your group project?

In the PC/Console game project, my role was a Hard Surface Artist. Our main inspirations for our project were Star Citizen and Star Wars as it was based on a space hanger. Due to it being sci-fi, it gave all of us a lot of creative freedom with everything we created. However, as a result of this we also had to be careful and make sure to be consistent across our models and textures.

What do you specialise in and what made you choose that specialism?

I specialise in hard surface modelling with a particular interest in vehicles. I've always enjoyed modelling, it was the first thing I got taught at my college and I was immediately hooked on the entire process. I find it very satisfying to make something from the ground up and nothing beats the feeling of seeing the final product. With vehicles, they're something I've enjoyed my entire life and being able to make them is the perfect combination for me.

What would your ideal first role in the industry be?

Vehicle Artist

Which of your student projects are you most proud of, and why?

I would say the Space Hanger from the PC/Console project as each member of the team has worked extremely hard to make this project the best one most of us have made. I'm also proud of the models I've made for it. I particularly enjoyed making the Alien Space ship. As my second vehicle, it has had its challenges but overall I'm very happy with what I have produced.

What’s a piece of media (film, game, animation) that changed the way you think about your discipline?

I would say the Space Hanger from the PC/Console project as each member of the team has worked extremely hard to make this project the best one most of us have made. I'm also proud of the models I've made for it. I particularly enjoyed making the Alien Space ship.
