Can you describe the extent of any relevant work experience you might have?
Although I haven't been officially employed in the games industry, during my 2nd year I did a prop for 'Nightmare Studios' as volunteer work/experience. I also did a freelance project doing post-production that involved editing a TV mini-series in Premier Pro.
How would you describe your contribution to your group project?
During Emporium, my role was as an organic artist and sculptor. This involved me mostly creating statues, primarily focusing on a creature.
What do you specialise in and what made you choose that specialism?
Organic artist due to my love for sculpting and achieving shapes that are more complicated than hard surface models.
What would your ideal first role in the industry be?
Organic prop artist/character artist moving to a specialised role like lead gore artist.
Which of your student projects are you most proud of, and why?
Hexed, due to me trying more complex sculpts that challenge me a lot. The project was also in my preferred "realistic horror" style.
What’s a piece of media (film, game, animation) that changed the way you think about your discipline?
Mostly playing computer games paired with my love of art and wanting to know how they were made.
